This strange monument also called 'UFO landing pad' has been built in the middle of the Argentinian desert by a Swiss man called Werner Jaisli who claimed aliens told him to construct it. It's a collection of white and brown rocks in the shape of a star, known as an 'ovniport' - and it appeared in the small town of Cachi in the province of Salta.
The larger monuments is surrounded by smaller pieces and can be seen from the skies, which would be handy for any UFO’s driven by aliens as they near Earth. The area is barren and the inhabitants of the land are surrounded by natural beauty in every direction.

The site attracts hundreds of visitors a year and Mr Jaisli decided to build it when he claims he received a “telepathic message” from extraterrestrials in which they told him they needed a place to land when they arrive at our planet.
It all begun on a November night in 2008 when he witnessed a UFO sighting at a party. He explains how the power was suddenly cut off during the party at a friends house.
He told Argentine newspaper El Tribuno: “I was in Fuerte Alto with my neighbor Luis. It was midnight on November 24, 2008.
“'It's a UFO night,' I said to Luis. And the sentence was not over, when two luminous objects advanced about 200 meters above the Calchaquà River.
“They were solid, circular and like burnished metal. I do not know why, but mentally I asked them to come closer. And they did it!
“They landed about 100 metres above our heads and projected on us a beam of light that made us both see their own brightness.
“The funny thing is that it did not affect our vision. Something began to bubble through my brain: it was an order.
“They asked me telepathically to build the airport.”
After supposedly receiving the message in 2008, Mr Jaisli immediately got to work in constructing the star which has 36 points and measures 48 metres in diameter.
Mr. Jaisli spent much of his time from 2008-2012 building the UFO pad.
