The stone-shaped tears is reported came out mysteriously from Chandni's eye, a 15-year-old girl who living in rural area of India. According to doctors there is no medical explanation why it can happen.
The tears came out every day for the last two months. According to the girl's family, small stones started falling from her eyes on July 17th 2021, and since then she has been crying and shedding between 10 and 15 stone tears every day.

Over two months since the strange phenomenon occurred, more than 70 stone tears have been collected. Apparently, Chandni, started removing small stones from her eyes around 6am and continued to do so well into the night.
Sometimes, the stones don't form in her eyes at night.
In a short video clip which was filmed in the village of Gadiya Balidaspur, and went viral last year, Chandni showed a small tear-like lump that had fallen under her left eye. After being massaged by hand, the lump turned out to be a stone which had been troubling the girl's eyes for more than two months.

The stone that came out of Chandni's eye finally fell. Later, another stone-like tears drops from her eyelid, this time coming from the upper right-hand side. The two of them were successfully retrieved and collected together with the ever-increasing tears of stone.
Chandni's immediate family and relatives in Gadiya Village Balidaspur, India's Uttar Pradesh state, said the girl was literally crying. However, the ophthalmologist insisted that such a thing was impossible, especially if it was the result of crying.
According to Dr Awadhesh Kumar, a well-known ophthalmologist, such a thing has no scientifically explainable medical cause. So according to the doctor, Chandni probably put a stone in her own eye, to get attention.
Dr Neeraj Gupta, director of Durga Eye Hospital, also insists that such a phenomenon is not based on medical science, in fact it is more in the realm of fraud. However, as Chandni's family cannot afford for further examination by medical professionals, so for now the mystery of her eye condition cannot be ascertained.

This isn't the first time such has happened. Back in 2014, according to the Mail Online, a 12 year old girl named Saadiya Saleh from Yemen suffered from a similar condition.
Doctors said they still could not give an explanation for such a phenomenon since the girl, Saadiya Saleh, is not suffering from any known disease.
